Ingrid has an academic background with postgraduate qualifications, is very thorough and likes to provide high quality dentistry and work with patients to achieve their dental goals.

She has many nervous patients who now attend regularly and

comfortably. Her interests are tooth-coloured fillings, preventive dentistry (particularly for children, the elderly, and those with multiple dental problems), dentures, crowns and bridges.

She has many years of experience in public dentistry, university teaching, and private practice and has a soft spot for those in need. Ingrid loves travelling, animals, nature and art, and took up scuba diving to keep her partner happy.

Dr Ashley White

Ashley is caring and very experienced. He takes the time to review past dental history, listens carefully and  has the experience and skills to deal with complex problems.

He has many years of experience in rural dental practice which has given him skills beyond that of

most city dentists. He has an interest in minor oral surgery and endodontics (root canal treatment), and enjoys seeing his long-term regular patients and their families and often the next generation, to help them with their dental needs.

He likes scuba diving, adventurous travelling, swimming in his lap pool, and is a fan of sports such as soccer, AFL and cricket.

Dr Andrew Scott

Andrew brings a wealth of experience to the team at Dentalcare Mount Barker. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Sydney University, and since then has worked across private and public practice in Queensland, before moving to South Australia.

Andrew is well known for his relaxed and friendly approach and efficient delivery of service, which helps him to put even the most nervous patient at ease!

He is an adept ‘all-rounder’ and his extensive experience across all aspects of modern dentistry means he can resolve the most complex dental issues with a minimum of fuss.

Andrew co-owned and operated his own accredited practice in Brisbane for many years before making a tree-change to the beautiful Adelaide Hills in 2020. His work in the public sector—for Queensland Health—saw him practice in the Moreton Bay region and rural and remote parts of Queensland. He has also been a FIFO dentist servicing the mining sector of Central Queensland.

Outside of work Dr Andrew is a proud and experienced Weekend Warrior and likes nothing better than getting his hands dirty in the garden. He is a known ‘repeat offender’ renovator and thoroughly enjoys demolishing things and then rebuilding them—much to his wife’s amusement.

With a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide, Dr Eugenie brings a fresh and comprehensive approach to dental care, ensuring that your experience is both comfortable and of the highest standard.

Even as a young child, Dr Eugenie was drawn to the world of dentistry, a dream that has now become a rewarding reality. Having grown up in Malaysia, she is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, enabling her to connect with a diverse range of patients. After completing her studies in 2022, Dr Eugenie gained valuable experience in general practice, exploring a broad spectrum of general dentistry services. Her clinical interests are as diverse as her skills, encompassing everything from preventive care to complex restorative procedures. Dr Eugenie's approach to dentistry is holistic, focusing not only on the technical aspects of her work but also on the impact she can make in her patients' lives. This is evident in her commitment to creating a supportive and comfortable environment, especially for those dealing with dental anxiety or discomfort. Dr Eugenie finds her work particularly gratifying, appreciating the meaningful relationships she builds with her patients. She finds great satisfaction in relieving pain and fostering a sense of ease during dental visits, making every effort to ensure that your time with her is as relaxing and positive as possible. Outside the dental clinic, Dr Eugenie enjoys a balanced lifestyle, engaging in casual tennis games with friends and immersing herself in the world of soccer. Her appreciation for a 'killer cup of coffee' reflects her love for simple pleasures and relaxation.
